When I was six years old my family moved to a new country. I went to second grade in a new city across the ocean, a city steeped in history, overflowing with character and story. The building I went to school in was a renovated medieval prison located in the “Square of the Dragon”, and the street that carried me there was named “The Way of the Witches”. It was enough to stoke the fires of my imagination forever.
Three years ago I was fortunate enough to return to that same city with my wife and daughter, and I found myself drawn to the same square, by the same “Way of the Witches”. Now at a place in my life where I am trying to focus on game design, I want to capture the feeling of that walk. I want our games to have a sense of history. I want our games to make people think as they leave the table with questions about the world we show them. I want our games, our stories, our worlds to linger.
This is our mission as designers at Witchway Games! We thank you for joining us so far, we have so many exciting games we’re working on sharing with you.
